Salvavidas de Centroamérica S.A. was established in 1991 in response to the need for local companies to have certified and trusted Fire Protection Systems. Its owner and President, Engineer Randal F. Weidig, has extensive experience in the field.
He has worked in areas such as research and consulting in the United States, Mexico, Central and South America. Among other jobs, he was a building inspector for Orange County, California, from 1982-1984 and worked with Factory Mutual (FM) Research and Engineering Corporation as a loss prevention consultant and fire protection specialists for six years.
Since its inception, Salvavidas de Centroamérica S.A. has offered solutions in accordance with the strictest US safety standards (NFPA, FM, IRI), and utilizes products approved by FM and listed by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. Salvavidas de Centroamérica S.A. has N.F.P.A. Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) in many key positions in the company.
